Nutrition Counselling

Nutrition Counselling supports referrals for individuals & families.Our team of Registered Dietitians are ready to provide one-on-one education and support for a variety of nutrition issues.

Children & Families may see a Dietitian for:

  • Low BMI/underweight
  • Weight management
  • Feeding challenges/picky eating
  • Allergy/intolerance
  • Vegetarianism/veganism
  • Nutritional deficiency
  • Other non-acute nutritional concerns

Adults & Seniors may see a Dietitian for:

  • Low BMI/weight loss
  • Celiac disease
  • Irritable bowel syndrome
  • Allergy/intolerance
  • Vegetarianism/veganism
  • Nutritional deficiency
  • Other non-acute nutritional concerns

Weight Management

The SASPCN is proud to offer a unique and dynamic weight management program called, “Achieve.” The Achieve Weight Management program offers a series of group classes led by a Registered Dietitian.

Classes are designed to meet participant’s individual needs in a supportive environment that promotes new knowledge, skills development and the “best weight” philosophy.

Referrals for weight management, pre-diabetes, diabetes management, dyslipidemia and problematic eating are supported by our Nutrition Classes.
